Sædís is a soft and lovely beer with a mild bitterness and a hint of sweetness. Snædís pairs perfectly with all sorts of seafood hence the name: sea goddess. Saison is originally a Belgian style. During the fermentation, a certain process is set in motion that lowers the acid level, which gives the beer its distinctive, pleasant aroma. Saison beers are characteristically pale and light in colour. Sædís Sigurbjörnsdóttir, a good friend of ours, is the face and name of the brew.
